I haven’t done one of these for the longest time. As I mentioned in my Instagram Stories (handle: @iamhakme) yesterday, I couldn’t be bothered with taking photos for my Instagram account for a long time. The reason was mainly because it took up a huge mental capacity – all the clothes sourcing, planning of outfits and locations to shoot. And there were always other things in the background, so something had to give. However, I am back on it recently and in fact I have been enjoying it so far. I am going to reuse some of the photos from my Instagram here and break down the outfit for you, just in case you are interested.

I always love a good shoulder pad and I have been loving this modern version of shoulder pad t-shirt from The Attico. It gives a great silhouette without making you feel like you are going to a rugby match! Oh and the bonus point is that the shoulder pads can be removed anytime. So, if you feel more down to earth on certain days, simply just take them away. How convenient! It’s like having two tops with the price of just one.
For the bottom, I just kept it skinny and simple. The focus is on the shoulder, so I don’t want anything too drastic on the bottom part. But I had to pop on these neon slingback from Midnight 00. These are of kitten heels, so they are still comfortable but I love how they give that pop of colour during this boring time.

I admit that it’s super hot right now to take photos outside. I can’t tell you how much sweat behind that face mask, but the joy of putting outfits together and creating some decent content override the sweat.
